Copywriting is my speciality

I write across the board, from advertising to marketing, from direct mail to web, from magazine to catalogue and from digital to internal communications.

I suppose I just can’t help it, but copywriting is my vocation. I am lucky to work as a creative director, business leader, lecturer and brand designer, but writing is the work I prefer the most.

I began as the editor of a travel magazine in the mid 80’s when DTP changed the face of publishing, followed by three years as a trainee copywriter for a Saatchi and Saatchi agency.

I took the leap into freelancing in 1989 and after five enjoyable years I began to build a design studio around my copywriting client base.

This evolved into Jupiter Design, which now employs 85 talented designers and managers and has a great copywriting studio at its heart.

I’m excited to be writing again and proud that Jupiter is thriving in the safe hands of its outstanding directors and creative studios.

All my writing is brand-focused and targeted towards a precise customer. It has one aim – to generate the desired response. It’s not about great writing, it’s about creating response for you.
